Blood Treaty; A CB and TH Vampire Fiction
Chapter 10
Darkness surrounded Bill, but it was familiar darkness. He had been here before, in dream. A dream like this one. This was a dream, he knew that, but it didnt make a difference. It was like he was trapped in his body. He knew what was going to happened, but he didnt do anything. He still smelled the blood, felt the shock, and pain, when the burly man caught him from behind, and even felt the tears run down his face as the piercing light stung his eyes. It was all the same. The same, yet somehow different.
He could hear the steady breathing of the man behind him. Before, it had been unclear, like heard through water. But Bill could understand the man this time. He heard the man tell him to shut up, call him worthless and a failure. The words stung, but Bill didnt know why. They just did.
The most shocking, though, were the two men before him. It was slightly clearer now, and Bill could tell that they were both men, but he still couldnt hear them or make out the one tied to a chair. What he could see was horrible enough. Bills eyes widened with shock and fear as Strify placed his hand on his victims shoulder and smirked. They widened even more, as Strify tilted the mans head and leaned toward his neck. Bills horrible scream pierced through the silence, as Strifys razor-sharp fangs pierced the mans throat.

Bill woke in the middle of the night, drenched in sweat. What were these odd dreams that he kept having? And what did Strify have to do with it, whatever it was. Is Strify a vampire? Bill wondered to himself. He rested his hand on his bare neck. In the same place that, nine years ago, he too had been bitten by a creature of the night.
He was snapped out of his thoughts by a rustling sound from across the room. Bill sat up and say Tom lying in his bed, he always was a light sleeper. Whenever Bill had woken up in the middle of the night, Tom would stir. Whether he was a light sleeper, or it was just because of how close they were, Bill was never sure. But it made him feel better, none-the-less. He felt complete whenever Tom was around, ever since that night
~Flashback~
BILL!! Tom cried at the sight of his brother. Bloody and lying in the snow. He was unconscious, but breathing.
Bill! Bill! he shook his brother desperately. Wake up! The cold wind stung his cheeks and nose.
T-tomi? Bills eyes opened slightly.
Billa! Tom Pulled his brother into a hug. I thought I lost you! Why did you go off on your own? He let go all the tears that he had been holding back.
Tomi
Im sorry
Damn strait! You better be sorry making mo worry like this!
Im
sorry
Im cold Tomi
We need to get you home! Can you walk? Tom stood up and helped the boy to his feet. Bill leaned heavily against Tom, and together they managed to make it back to the house.
Simone answered the door, ready to lecture her sons about going out on theyre own, until she saw all of the blood. The entire right side of Bills neck, and parts of his face were covered in dried blood. His normally spiked, black hair hung in clumps of frozen blood and snow, and his coat was drenched. Tom was also covered, but she could tell that it was only from helping Bill walk. Aside from the blood, the slight bit of eyeliner that Bill had been wearing was running down his cheeks. She was shocked and had to call Gordon to come help the boys while she sat down. The boys had always run off, but never without the other. Sometimes they would come back with a few cuts and bruises, but never anything like this. Tears began to run down her face, and it was a while before she could straiten up and go in to see her son.
Gordon had cleaned him up, and there was a bandage around his neck. He seemed alright, sitting by the fire talking to Tom, but there was something wrong.
It was weird, Bill could somehow tell how his mother was feeling. He looked away from Tom and saw Gordon pull her out into the hallway.
Billa? Are you okay?
Huh? Oh yeah Tomi, Im fine! A little cold though
could you get me another blanket?
Sure? Tom gave him an odd look but shrugged it off and got up to go find another blanket. Bill took the opportunity to eavesdrop. He hid in the kitchen, where he could hear everything that his mom and Gordon were saying, without being seen.
What is it honey? Its serious isnt it! Oh, I knew that I shouldve kept a better eye on him! I was irresponsible, and now my son is going to die! die? Bill thought. He knew that he should be scared, but wasnt. He somehow knew that he would survive.
No Simone, Hes going to be fine
but Im a little worried about his wound. It was
odd.
Odd? How so?
Well, it looks like teeth marks
Oh my God
you think that he got bit by something? Some kind of animal? She gasped Do you think he has rabies?
Thats whats odd. It doesnt look like an animal, but more like a
a
A what??
A vampire
there was a pause.
You mean to tell me
you want me to believe my son
got bit by
a vampire??? There was slight hysteria in her voice. This is no time for jokes Gordon!
Im completely serious. And both Simone and Bill could tell that he was.
Wh-what do we do? She stuttered.
Ill call I a specialist tomorrow, and well go from there.
The next day, a strange man came to the house. Gordon had taken Tom to the park and told him only that a doctor was coming to look at Bill. Simone stayed behind to be with her son. After several observations, and drawing some blood, the man concluded the presence of evil in the boys soul. HE requested that Bill be cleansed, but she knew what he really meant. He wanted them to that their own son killed.
She politely denied his request of taking care of the cleansing, thanked him for his services, and sent him on his way. She waved as he drove away, and turned to Bill with a fake smile. A smile that he would see again, every day of his life. Because from that day on, she never looked at her son the same again. She knew of the evil within him, and she told Gordon. They never, however, told Tom, for it wasnt his burden. They wanted him to have a normal life, and Bill respected their wishes.
